International Recruitment Consultant - London
Looking to join a market-leading company in the education recruitment sector? Due to a very successful term leading into January, our international division at TeacherActive are seeking a dedicated consultant, to support the relocation of overseas-trained educators to the UK from Australia, New Zealand, Canada and South Africa.
This is a highly rewarding role, getting an opportunity to join a growing team and company, as well as to play a vital role in facilitating a life-altering global relocation for our international educators.
This role entails:⢠Utilising a range of different sourcing platforms to find, and engage with, suitable overseas educators from qualifying countries.
⢠Making phone contact with suitable overseas educators, introducing them to our services and how we can best support their overseas journey and job search.
⢠Providing accurate advice to prospective international educators around; visa requirements and eligibility, support with accommodation, opening a UK bank account, obtaining a national insurance number etc.
⢠Liaising closely with our compliance team to support the timely clearance of overseas educators, prior to their UK-arrival.
⢠Liaising closely with our sales team, to ensure that overseas educators in our pipelines can be matched to suitable roles available in our schools.
⢠Create candidate profiles to be shared with consultants across the business
⢠Constantly keep in touch with candidates to ensure you are up to date on their arrival plans and are updating them on job opportunities regularly
⢠Get to know candidates and identify key strengths to highlight to consultants
⢠Sending Odro video profile requests
⢠Highlighting CPD courses offered and request feedback on additional resources/ training required
⢠Encourage positive feedback, referrals and testimonials from candidates.This is by no means a complete list; you need to be adaptable in recruitment as your day plan can change at a drop of a hat. Itâs exciting, fast paced and requires somebody with a lot of resilience, passion, and energy.
This you will work towards KPI's and revenue targets. However, we offer realistic achievable targets and will offer you the right training and support in order to aid you in achieving them. We offer an uncapped commission with no threshold so you can reap the rewards of your hard work.
Desirable experience/attributes:⢠Knowledge of visa requirements and eligibility for prospective educators from Australia, New Zealand, Canada and South Africa.
⢠Knowledge of eligibility for overseas-trained teachers to teach in schools across England & Wales.
⢠Previously worked in a UK-based school role, either as a teacher or support staff, or have knowledge of what these roles entail.
⢠Previously relocated across to the UK yourself, having empathy and compassion for the potential uncertainty and apprehension associated with a journey of this magnitude.
⢠Personable, honest, with excellent communication skills, as a means to create trust from our educators in the our service that we offer.
